From information architecture, mental models, process flows and function prototypes my work at RI3K is varied. The results are documented using combinations of many techniques to position new processes and work-flows to our users. These documents cover requirements resulting for legislative changes to feature enhancements from increased market uptake and usage.
Integration with legacy code is always a consideration purely because today awesome code becomes tomorrow's legacy system, therefore many new features are required to be position in legacy screens so require methods of parallel documentation and detailed consideration.
Daily collaboration with industry experts, business analysts and application developers requires different approaches. The business and the ability our customers to visualise solutions require high fidelity mock ups and prototype to appease their understanding. Less detailed wire frame and functional prototypes that convey states within the application are acceptable for the development team together these provide the foundations of a successful functional timely user experience of RI3K products.
