This is London is the definitive website for those who live, work or play in the world's most vibrant city.
My recent involvement in this site has been mainly that of integrating various products and services from the Daily Mail and This is Money on to the site. This in some cases has been a challenge because of the sites age and tabular structure. This has meant additional work has been required when transferring standards based code and scripts to the site.
The Insiders Guide is a section of the site I worked upon developing the cross-site tagging of content for the subscription-based channel. The requirement was to develop an identity that could be used across the site to identify paid for content for two sets of users. One group was those who had subscribed and needed a visual means of seeing what was available to them and at the same time promote the great content available if you were to subscribe to the insiders guide.
Subsequently the subscription model was dropped replaced by a registered user model. At this point the graphics were changed from red to green.
This is my online portfolio, showcasing work created in the seven years I've been a graphic and web designer.
I also use the site as a development area where ideas and techniques are explored and commented upon.
