At RI3K my role as Senior User Experience Designer is twofold. Primarily I lead the User Experience team of five at a none managerial level developing RI3K’s web applications which results in the creation of functional prototypes, wire frames, and information architecture documentation. For this I work closely with business analysis, designers and front end developers 6-12 months ahead of the current agile development cycle enabling thorough investigation into user requirements that are defined through ongoing consultation with the global client list. Through consultation with user’s full requirements, user interface definitions and functional prototypes are available prior to the technical planning stages of the development process. Secondly I have client facing responsibilities, presenting proposed solutions, facilitating user group sessions and initiating the resulting design changes to allow integration of new industry practices, processes, and standards.
